👑 What Is Zari? A Touch of Ancient Luxury

Zari is a centuries-old embroidery technique made using metallic threads, most commonly gold or silver. Introduced to North Africa and perfected in Moroccan ateliers, zari work became a hallmark of high-end kaftans worn at weddings, ceremonies, and royal occasions.

In this design, shimmering gold zari patterns are meticulously hand-stitched along the sleeves, bodice, and hem, adding radiant detail without overwhelming the elegance of the fabric.

📐 How to Take Your Measurements Correctly (for Moroccan Caftans)

To ensure a perfect fit for your Moroccan caftan, please follow these simple steps using a soft measuring tape:

1. Bust

  • Measure around the fullest part of your chest.

  • Keep the tape snug but not tight, and make sure it stays level around your back.

2. Waist

  • Find your natural waistline (usually the narrowest part of your torso).

  • Relax your stomach and breathe normally while measuring.

3. Hips

  • Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.

  • Keep your feet together and ensure the tape is level all the way around.

4. Shoulder Width (optional but helpful)

  • Measure from one shoulder tip to the other, across the back.

5. Sleeve Length (for long sleeves)

  • Start at the shoulder seam and measure down to the wrist bone, with the arm relaxed.

6. Full Length (Height from Shoulder to Floor)

  • Measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the caftan to end (usually around the ankle or floor).

  • Wear the shoes you plan to wear with the caftan for accurate height.

✅ Tips:

  • Always stand straight and relaxed while measuring.

  • Ask someone to help you for more accurate results.

  • Double-check your measurements before placing an order.

  • If you’re between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one or contacting us for custom sizing.
